The Royal Cinema Faversham History
First Opened as Odeon Theatre on 9th March 1936
Taken over and Became Classic on 10th December 1967
Became Royal on 28th September 1969
Closed as cinema on 1st May 1974
Became a Corel Bingo hall on 21st January 1979
Renamed the New Royal Cinema/ Bingo 1984 (ceased showng films, full time Bingo hall in 1985)
Closed down in 1992
Re-Opened as The Royal Cinema on 11th Febuary 1994 (still opperating in 2004)
