The Christie''s console was rebuilt by Wurlitzer in ''46, after a minor disaster with the console back being left open (Organist Leo Rae setting pistons and gone for tea)
The projectionist thinking that it had just been left up sent it down and the back ''flap'' caught on the edge of the stage and flipped over the entire console smashing all the glass ! Leo was my Organ teacher, so I know it''s accurate info !
