The End of an Era
Screen Oxted
During June 2010, after 81 years of film projection,
the Plaza/Everyman stopped showing film, and went over to completely digital projection
The two long serving projectionists were made redundant, along with all their knowledge
The Picture is now controlled from buttons in the foyer operated by
floor staff
