Sabrina was a British Glamour Girl/Starlet in the late 1950s early 1960s
(I wonder what projection equipment they are talking about)
This was transmitted in1946 to enable you to tune your TV to the optimum signal before viewing
Historical note
BBC television shut down at the start of World War 2 half way through a Mickey Mouse cartoon
When it resumed transmission in 1946, it re-started right at the same point in the cartoon where it was
closed down in 1939
The announcer, Jasmine Bligh, came on and said,
"Sorry for the interruption of our programme service. Our next presentation is..." As if nothing had happened!
